Start the car from cold

Starting the car from cold will help you detect any potential issues. If the car doesn’t start from cold it may need a new battery or alternator could be required. Alternatively, there could be a problem with the starter motor.

How to check engine number

The engine number may refer to an identification number marked on the engine of a vehicle.

The engine number is a six digit number. The first three digits are your vehicle’s engine code and the last six digits are your vehicle’s engine number
